AMS7 site
Switch Datacenters AMS7 is part of our triangle of new 100 MW + power-dense developments together with our AMS5 and AMS7 datacenters and is uniquely located in the Schiphol area. Construction is expected to start in 2027 and will bring a modular build of 60MW initially with expansions building up to a total of 120 MW in 2030.
The datacenter will have a BESS system on site, fed with renewable power from a large local solar plant and Dutch wind.
It is a power efficient site using our modular design of high-density power distribution and a hybrid combination of dry and air cooling facilitating flexible cooling options (liquid, air, hybrid), tailored to the latest AI specifications. The design has both low PUE & WUE and operates on 100% renewable energy.

Design up to 120 MW IT load
The facility is designed with the following modern power technologies to meet the highest datacenter requirements:
- Utility Feeders: 80MVA
- Total IT load: 60 MW --> 120 MW (pending ph2)
- Energy supply: 100% Renewable
- Heat Reuse: Green heat re-use project under development
- Battery park: BESS system on site
Connectivity available major carriers (e.g. Eurofiber, EU networks). Direct connections via 2 separate routes to the Amsterdam fiber ring & major IXs. Special carrier connectivity can bearranged.
