Carrier Neutral

Switch Datacenters has a network neutral policy in order for our customers to freely connect directly to the existing networks within our datacenter in Amsterdam and Woerden.

Switch Datacenter Amsterdam (AMS1) is strategically located in Amsterdam Southeast, which has one of the highest densities of International Backbone Carriers in Europe. The presence of large amounts of fibre in the ground makes it possible to directly buy bandwidth in our datacenter from all major carriers in the world at the best possible conditions.

Switch Datacenters has over 460 fibre connections, coming from 40 different backbone carriers such as Level3, Verizon, Abovenet, Cogent, BT, Colt, euNetworks, Relined and many others. You can also connect directly to one of the existing Internet exchanges.

The Amsterdam datacenter offers the opportunity to have network connections coming from two separate Meet-Me-Rooms to connect to your infrastructure. This means you are able to create full redundancy through physically separate fiber optic paths.

Our second datacenter in Woerden (Utrecht) has the following carriers: Colt, KPN, BT, Verizon, Versatel, Eurofiber and a direct redundant 10gb connection to Amsterdam. We offer twin-datacenter solutions between our datacenters.
